Be Nice to an Elderly Mother or a Female Role Model

Just because someone is elderly, or frail does not mean she cannot enjoy some of the special moments in life. Mother`s Day should qualify as a special moment.

While visiting your female role model, mother, or grandmother, if something appears to be out of the normal, be observant. Look for physical changes in your loved one`s behaviors. Does she appear to be losing weight? Is she eating properly? Does she repeat the same questions repeatedly? Is she confused?

If you observe any of these conditions, consult with a family member or a professional. Do not ignore any warning signs.
